oh dear.. this blog is severely underutilised. i haven't been blogging coz i've been really busy and tired and lazy ): 4 weeks since i came.. counting down to the end of this semester so i can finally go home. i feel there's really a great difference between this trip and my previous korea trip. the 4 main differences being:

1) i started counting down to go home from day 1 in bj. i only started to count down after 4 weeks in korea.

2) my blog and fb are severely outdated while they were quite updated when i was in korea. reason being: there's nothing much to blog about in bj + i'm really busy + there's no excitement whatsoever

3) i miss my family. i didn't really miss my family when i was in korea. probably coz i knew i was going home SOON.

4) when people ask me "how's bj?" i'll have nothing good to say about it. when people ask me "how was korea?" my reply would always be "great!! i'm going back there again soon!!"

you must be wondering what i had been busy with. it's basically routine. i have lessons monday to friday between 8 to 5 almost everyday. this sucks. like office hours and my back will ache like hell after lessons everyday. then i'll go home with a saturated brain and watch some drama on my laptop. we have a tv at home, but the shows are mostly boring. recently i realised the bao qing tian show is not bad so i will consider watching it. after some rotting we'll go eat or ta bao dinner and by the time we're done with it it'll be almost 9pm. shower + study a little, it'll be bedtime. this repeats every single weekday until saturday, when we can finally go out shopping. just one day of rest. sunday is another slogging day. the house seems to be dirty forever and every week we have to spend half a day cleaning it up. most of the time we'll skip lunch because of that. sigh. by the time we're done with cleaning up we'll be too shagged to do anything. arghs.. another day will pass like that.

so, how not to hate life here? lessons are all going like rocket speed. the workload is definitely much higher than when we were in ntu. sucksssss. and then you can see from my routine how little time i have to study on my own. i will try to study whenever i have free time and that explains why i managed to kick my addiction to fb and why i have no time to update this blog ):

it was my birthday a few days ago. at times like this, i will miss home even more. not like my housemates didn't try to surprise me with a cake, but living under one roof doesn't necessarily make it a family so it still feels different. moreover i felt it was a boring birthday overall. none of my classmates wished me in class coz they didn't know or forgot but some of them eventually did wish me on fb. all thanks to fb's reminder. i didn't go out after sch that day as well, so i spent it like any other day. tried to convince myself a birthday is no big deal. luckily i received a heartwarming card from my family. best "present" i've ever received. never knew a card could be so meaningful to me.
shall keep the contents secret. hehe.

i still can't believe the temperature here dropped by 10 over degree celsius overnight. it's so scary. we were still saying this year's autumn is going to be the hottest autumn in bj. who knows a rain came and brought the temp down by so much. now it's only 14 deg C here. can see a threatening winter approaching. haha.. gotta get myself equipped with winter stuffs soon.
